Front-Drive Tight Side Compaction

The drive wheel of the top chain is positioned at the front to achieve tight-side compaction, preventing material slippage/creeping. Stepper Motor Precise Feed

The cutter drum features a built-in stepper motor for direct feed drive, supporting intermittent/continuous feed modes. Feed amount is adjustable at the micron level (0.002-0.03mm), effectively extending knife life and reducing changing frequency.

Integral Front-Mounted Cutter Drum

Straight Cylindrical Grinding

Top/Bottom Chain & Compaction System

01 Conveying & Compaction Unit

The conveying unit consists of top and bottom chain assemblies and the compaction device. Material is gradually compacted into a "tobacco cake" through a wedge-shaped channel.

  • Bottom Chain: Horizontal setup, servo motor driven, with automatic cleaning and convenient tensioning device. Reduces drive torque.
  • Top Chain: Front-drive tight side compaction with the drive wheel at the front, eliminating slippage and creep. Rear power shaft can move horizontally to adapt to layer variations.
  • Compaction Cylinder: Floating structure automatically adjusts to material thickness with adjustable pressure. Uses a booster device for constant compaction force.

02 High Precision Cutter Drum System

The heart of the cutter. The drum body is fully machined with excellent dynamic balance. Diameter ⌀650mm, equipped with 8 knives as standard.

  • Independent Feed Power: External stepper motor acts as an independent power source, offering good heat dissipation, precise control, and no "feed failure".
  • Sync Mechanism: Central gear drives the motion distribution mechanism, driving 8 sets of feed shafts synchronously.
  • Dual Push Structure: Each knife is pushed by two sets of universal joint mechanisms, ensuring balanced force and parallel knife edges.

03 Automatic Sharpening & Dressing

Ensures knife sharpness and constant cutting circumference, guaranteeing uniform cut width.

  • Reciprocating Mechanism: Variable frequency speed control. The grinding wheel moves back and forth along a linear guide for flat grinding.
  • Auto Feed & Dressing: Automatic feed when the grinding head reaches the endpoint. Diamond pen dresses the wheel to compensate for wear and maintain constant cutting circumference.
  • Easy Maintenance: The sharpener base can be opened 90º parallel via hinge for easy knife changing and cleaning.
