Independently Driven Feed Chains

Breaking from traditional mechanical linkage, the upper and lower feed chains are driven by separate synchronous servo gear motors. The lower chain is horizontally set to reduce torque. Constant Pressure Compaction

Utilizes a floating cylinder, booster arm, and reversing lever mechanism. Proportional pressure reducing valves achieve automatic compaction force control, adjusting to material thickness to form a tight "tobacco cake," ensuring cutting precision.

S120 Servo Drive System

Cutter drum, feed chains, and grinding wheel motors all utilize Siemens SINAMICS S120 servo drives. Multi-axis cooperative control provides excellent dynamic response and energy regeneration without the need for braking resistors, ensuring high efficiency.

Integral Cutter Drum

Large ⌀650mm diameter drum with 10 cutting knives evenly spaced. Integral fully machined component with excellent dynamic balance. Equipped with an independent pneumatic knife feed device supporting continuous quantitative automatic feed and integrated manual/auto control.

Straight Cylindrical Grinding

Uses cylindrical grinding to produce a straight cutting edge, ensuring sharp blades and low cutting resistance. The reciprocating mechanism uses a rack and pinion structure for smooth operation, equipped with an automatic dressing device to ensure a constant cutting circumference.

3D Visual Operation

Provides a user-friendly 3D HMI. Real-time display of mouthpiece height, material level, current waveforms, and trend curves makes operation intuitive and convenient.

01 Feeding & Compaction Unit

Consists of upper and lower copper feed chains and a compaction unit forming a wedge-shaped channel. A unique pendulum slide mechanism ensures the upper mouthpiece moves in a trajectory equidistant to the cutting radius, maintaining a constant gap.

  • Horizontal Lower Chain: Set at a 0° horizontal angle effectively reduces feeding drive torque. Equipped with convenient tensioning and scraping devices.
  • Upper Chain: Independently rear-driven by a synchronous servo motor, combined with the pendulum mechanism to adapt to flow fluctuations and ensure stable cutting quality.
  • Two-way Boosting: The cylinder uses a booster arm (2x boost) and a reversing lever to apply constant compaction force to both ends of the upper chain's front shaft.

02 High Precision Cutter Drum System

The heart of the machine, with a ⌀650mm diameter and 10 evenly spaced knives. Integral fully machined drum body with excellent dynamic balance.

  • Pneumatic Independent Feed: External oscillating cylinder and one-way clutch bearing cooperate with a planetary gear train to achieve micro, precise, and intermittent knife feeding.
  • Double Push Structure: Each knife is pushed by two sets of nuts, ensuring balanced force and blade parallelism.
  • Smart Monitoring: Real-time monitoring of remaining blade width (effective width 63mm) with automatic alarm and stop function.

03 Automatic Grinding & Dressing

Ensures blades remain sharp and the cutting circumference constant, critical for uniform cut width.

  • VFD Reciprocation: Reciprocating motor drives the grinder in linear motion via rack and pinion. VFD speed control ensures straighter grinding.
  • Automatic Dressing: The grinding wheel automatically feeds when reaching the endpoint, dressed by a diamond pen to compensate for wear.
  • Easy Maintenance: The grinder base features a hinged design, opening 90º parallel for easy knife change, wheel replacement, and cleaning.
